Welcome to Craig Ranch, one of the many golf courses I've worked on for Ultimate Golf during my 3 years at HypGames! This course was a blast to create, and came out looking like quite a beauty... although this course, like me, is from Texas, so perhaps I'm a little biased.
During the creation of this course, I:
-Used photoscanned data to create a high-poly mesh for use in Maya and Unity
-Mapped out and created elements of the terrain to match 1:1 with their proportions in reality, including fairways, greens, tee boxes, and roads
-Created structure meshes in scale to their counterparts in reality, measuring using Google Earth as reference
-Created multiple terrain and building textures using Photoshop and Substance Painter
-Placed vegetation and structures within the course to mirror the real course's tree and bush placement
-UV mapped and lightmap baked the structures, terrain and water to achieve realistic lighting and texture application
-Worked within Unity to map out mesh colliders, materials, and boundary curves to bring these holes into a playable state on mobile device
